I am love, love, loving your AAGF blog featuring what Mother Nature has to offer at Hacienda Palomita. Having come from generations of farmers from the 'Old Country', I have been planting, nurturing and harvesting fresh produce to utilize in my favorite recipes for years. So bonding with Doug's blog was a natural. The last time I visited Doug (at one of his amazing Hacienda affairs) he treated me to a tour of his plantation estate and generously harvested several hand-picked varieties of his latest yield… yum, thanks Doug! Looking forward to more gardening tips with a 'reality check' sense of humor that only Doug can convey!
I think the little pigeon chick (is that what they are called?) is very cute. Can't wait to see it next weekend. David
